Glen Canyon Dam Exhibit

In 1956, a small town began to emerge on Manson Mesa, originally called ‘Government Camp’. In less than two decades this town would be known as Page, named after John C. Page, a 1930’s Commissioner of the Bureau of Reclamation. The Bureau’s main goal was to build a new dam, but its influence can still be felt today.
